InvestEd

InvestED is a non-profit organization that provides funding to almost 700 secondary schools all across Washington State. 

With support from generous donors like Microsoft and the Seahawks, InvestEd funds help bridge the gap between what families can afford, what schools can support, and what students urgently need to achieve.   Learn more about the organization at the InvestED website. 

At the beginning of the school year, InvestED provides funding to the SMS Invest Ed account. During the school year, SMS counselors help individual students in need. Funds can be used for yearbooks, ASB cards, food, clothing, shoes, haircuts, sports equipment, activity fees, renting musical instruments, field trips, eyeglasses, basic needs, and more.  These are little things that make a big difference in a child's life.
