For the 2025-2026 school year, the SMS Drama Program is excited to present Matilda the Musical Jr.
This fun, high-energy show, based on Roald Dahl’s beloved book, follows the story of Matilda Wormwood, a brilliant and brave young girl who uses her wit, courage, and a touch of magic to stand up for what’s right.
Rehearsal Schedule:

Monday, December 8, through Thursday, December 11 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
- January 5 through March 5, Monday-Thursday, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Friday, January 16, 12:30-4 p.m.: OPTIONAL vocal rehearsal for lead actors. Highly recommended. No transportation provided. Must arrange own transportation from SMS

Thursday, March 5, 4-8 p.m.: Evening dress rehearsal at MSHS Performing Arts Center
