Sports Overview

Snoqualmie Middle School offers a no-cut athletic program to encourage positive participation for all students. We encourage students to get involved in after-school sports to promote fun, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  SMS will follow the Washington State Department of Health's guidance for school protocols for safety.

The SMS athletic program is open to all students in the seventh and eighth grades and offers volleyball, soccer, basketball, wrestling, cross country, and track.  Sixth graders may participate in cross country, girls soccer, wrestling, and track.  SMS participates in league competitions with TFMS and CKMS, as well as Tolt and Islander middle schools.

Schedules and information can be found on the individual sports web pages as they become available.

How to Sign Up for Sports: Online registration is required and opens a few weeks before each sports season begins.  All students must be registered online before they can attend practice.

Physical: Print this physical form for your family doctor.  No student may practice or compete without a current physical.  No exceptions. Physicals last two years and parents will need to upload the physical when students register online for their sport. Physicals for new sixth graders must be dated Jan. 1 or later in the calendar year the student enters sixth grade.

Participation Fee: $100 per sport. Students also must join ASB ($25 annual fee).  Need financial assistance?  Participation fees are waived for students enrolled in free and reduced meals and/or the College Bound Scholarship program.  Complete this short online form to give parental consent to receive financial assistance for extracurricular activities. Payment is not due until the date of the first competition in order to give students time to practice and try the sport before committing. Please note: No refunds are available after payment is made.

Transportation: One-way buses will be available for away games. Parents will need to arrange for transportation home or indicate other parents who may drive your student when you sign up for sports at the link above.  Additionally, an activity bus that leaves SMS at 4:38 pm will take athletes to CVES after practice, arriving at approximately 4:51 pm.

Practices:  Practices are held Monday-Thursday from 2:30-4:30 p.m., with no practice on Friday.
